Sick of seeing cat hair all over your house? Or maybe you know someone with severe cat allergies and the cat hair makes it difficult for them to visit? To keep the cat hair problem under control I would totally recommend the Furminator for cats.
Cat hair is extremely fine and annoying, and it gets everywhere, even in food which can be particularly unhygienic. But you wouldn’t be without your darling kitty….
Furminator for cats – Medium/Large
Well the Furminator for cats is an ingenious design because it solves the cat hair problem BEFORE it gets everywhere. It’s a de-shedding tool that removes the hair directly from your cat so that it doesn’t get all over your lounge and kitchen. This clever little tool will remove up to 90% of shedding hair from your cat

The Furminator for Cats is easy to use and it has a button to dispel the hair once you have collected it from your kitties coat. It’s recommended by vets and groomers and will do a much better job at de-shedding than a regular cat brush.
Will my cat like it? Well it’s hard to say. Our Oreo didn’t mind, but he is a house cat and quite used to being petted. It was actually quite therapeutic for him. But whether or not your cat will like it will probably depend on how much he is used to being groomed.
Furminator for Small Long Haired Cats
This is the medium/large above, but the Furminator for Cats actually comes in different sizes and types for large and small cats with long or short fur. This one is specifically designed for small long haired cats….
- The FURminator undercoat tool is suitable for small cats that weight under 4,5 kg and with a long coat (more than 5 cm hair length)
- Removes up to 90% of loose hair and helps to reduce hairballs - for optimal results, use the deShedding tool 1 to 2 times per week for 10 - 20 minutes each time
- Stainless steel deShedding edge reaches through topcoat to safely and easily remove loose undercoat hair without damaging topcoat
There are other brands of cat de-shedding tools, but we found the Furminator to be the best. Enjoy your fur free home!
